How ShipDNA can get you ready for the year-end sunset
With e2open’s recent announcement that Clippership is going to be decommissioned on December 31, 2026, end users are challenged with finding the right migration partner. Where others claim to be capable, ShipDNA is one of the few Transtream Authorized Service Partners that can minimize migration difficulties and optimize your new deployment.
With decades of experience, deep industry knowledge and a skilled professional staff, ShipDNA is uniquely qualified to fulfill this responsibility.
CLIPPERSHIP AND TRANSTREAM EXPERIENCE
Unlike others, the ShipDNA team has more than 25 years of experience designing, deploying and maintaining both Clippership and Transtream solutions for shippers throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, European Union, UK and Australia. This includes companies with multiple distribution centers operating in Ecommerce, Health Sciences, Industrial Manufacturing and a diversity of other industries. It also includes deployments with complex rating, routing and international compliance requirements.
DEEP INTEGRATION KNOWLEDGE
Reinforcing this experience, is ShipDNA’s skill integrating shipping solutions with multiple ERPs, including MS Dynamics, Oracle, SAP Business One, Epicor, Infor and JDA among many others. The company is also skilled integrating a variety of OMS and marketplace applications. For high volume shippers, ShipDNA has the proven experience required to integrate directly with WMS platforms like Manhattan, Infios, Infor SX.e TWL, Körber (HighJump), and Blue Yonder.
MANAGED MIGRATION PROCESS
Most important for the Clippership community is ShipDNA’s successful history migrating users to Transtream.
The process starts with comprehensive planning and scheduling of critical migration tasks.
Once done, ShipDNA works to map the operating environment, including network servers, order sources (ERP, OMS, WMS), execution platforms (ConnectShip, Carriers), and post-shipment services (EDI, tracking, auditing). Mapping also includes network-accessible workstations, scales, label printers and material handling equipment.
ShipDNA then uses proprietary scripts to migrate existing Clippership data tables and records to the new Transtream environment. Beyond file movement, migration includes translation and modification to ensure Transtream compatibility.
With migrated data and maps, ShipDNA configures Transtream to replicate legacy shipping processes and to add any new functionality. This includes the implementation of critical business rules and contract carrier rates.
When complete, ShipDNA collaborates with the customer to perform comprehensive testing before bringing the solution live in a production environment.

FOCUS ON SOLUTION OPTIMIZATION
Beyond migration, ShipDNA’s team of professionals has the knowledge and experience to optimize the solution. This includes the implementation of more efficient shipping equipment and processes. It also includes the implementation of money-saving rating options and post-shipment carrier invoice auditing and reconciliation services. To optimize more complex fulfillment operations, ShipDNA offers the fully-integrated TouchManifest packing solution. Unlike other applications, the solution provides a color-driven, touchscreen interface for users to pack and ship cartons in seconds. Touch Manifest also works for shippers with serial/lot number capture, EDI 856 transaction and smart cartonization requirements.
EXPERT SUPPORT & SERVICE
Ensuring the success of any solution migration is a solid commitment to provide ongoing support and maintenance. With ShipDNA this starts with our staff of Transtream-certified service providers. The commitment continues with continual software updates and Monday-Friday access to our 9:00am-9:00pm EST service desk.
